POKOTABI / Yakiniku Date
焼肉 伊達
Located in Ginza 7-chome, Yakiniku Date offers assorted platters of premium cuts and beef tongue, Wagyu steaks, chewy jeon, and chilled noodles in a refined setting.
01 / ABOUT THE PLACE
Set within an annex building in Ginza 7-chome, Yakiniku Date offers an inviting retreat for savoring quality beef and drinks in an unhurried atmosphere. Meats grilled to an aromatic char remain tender to the bite, pairing easily with a crisp Hakushu highball or a cold beer for an evening built around dining at leisure.
The meat menu emphasizes assorted tasting platters that let guests compare cuts side by side, including the Deluxe 3-Piece combination of deluxe tongue, deluxe kalbi, and deluxe loin, as well as a 3-cut tongue platter. Individual cravings are met with options like thick-cut deluxe beef tongue, A5 Wagyu sirloin, and offal assortments seasoned with your choice of miso or salt.
Side dishes and late-course staples complete the table. Savory Korean pancakes (jeon) feature a chewy, elastic crumb that soaks up the house sauce, serving as a reliable partner for drinks. Bubbling stone-pot bibimbap and refreshing cold noodles provide a satisfying conclusion to the grill.
Private dining rooms offer seclusion for groups or business gatherings. Beyond the dinner courses and à la carte dishes, weekday lunch service brings approachable sets like yakiniku teishoku and teppan-grilled bulgogi, offering an easy midday respite after browsing the Ginza streets.
